About

The sound

Maga is a France-born electronic DJ and producer whose catalogue includes releases through Flying Circus and Get Physical. His work also extends into Scenarios, the collective and label he helped establish. In a 2022 interview, he described the project as a way for independent artists to develop a shared musical direction while learning from one another in the studio. Scenarios began with a team that included Emanuel Satie, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko alongside Maga. The early Here To Stay EP, credited to Maga, Sean Doron and Tim Engelhardt, arrived on 1 April 2022. Its two tracks were conceived for different moments in a DJ set: one for the club and one for the closing stretch. Maga’s approach to the collective emphasised agreed production guidelines and feedback between artists with different backgrounds. His catalogue also includes the Resona album, its title track and Velocidad, as well as Time Is On My Side with M.A.N.D.Y featuring Inga Humpe.
