About
The sound
Marasi is the Greek DJ, producer and musician Ioannis Efthymiou. His music combines Afro-house percussion with the tighter rhythmic patterns of tech house, following earlier recording work under the name Consoul Trainin. Tormenta was released through Spinnin Deep in the summer of 2023. Opera followed on Madorasindahouse in early 2024, while Rapture and Esos form part of the same expanding catalogue. His collaboration with Tayllor reworked Besame Mucho, adding another strand to his studio output. Remix credits for Bob Sinclar and Planet Funk connect that work with established house-music recordings alongside his own original tracks.
