Marco Carola is an Italian electronic musician, DJ and label founder from Naples. He began playing drums and turntables young, became a key figure in the early Italian techno movement, and developed a distinctive three-deck, long-form mixing style. His labels have included Design, Zenit, Question, One Thousands, Do.Mi.No. and Music On; recordings and mixes such as Play It Loud and Fabric 31 document the producer and selector sides of his work. Music On, launched in 2011, turned his club philosophy into an international brand and first took root in Ibiza in 2012. Carola’s profile therefore spans artist, label head and curator, with extended sets and a continuing connection to Ibiza and global techno audiences.
