Marco Faraone

About

The sound

Marco Faraone is an Italian DJ and producer from Tuscany and the founder of UNCAGE. His early interests in hip-hop and drum and bass developed into a focus on techno, with his work at Florence’s Tenax helping establish his club career. For The Outlaw Ocean Music Project, he created Hope, an album inspired by Ian Urbina’s reporting. Its tracks include Ocean, Time Is Running and Point Of No Return. Faraone has described the project as a way to encourage listeners to engage with the stories behind the music. His wider catalogue includes the Inside Of Me EP with Ejeca and the track Like That. Remix work for Gregor Tresher’s The High End Low and Josh Wink’s I’m Ready sits alongside those original productions and his work through UNCAGE.
