About
The sound
Marco Tropeano is a DJ and producer from Naples. He began DJing at fourteen, drawing inspiration from the city’s electronic-music scene and artists such as Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola and Rino Cerrone. After finishing school, he completed a three-year BTEC course and qualified as a sound technician. He later described a renewed focus on studio work after the pandemic as an important change in his career, moving production closer to the centre of his work. Tropeano founded OJOMARINO Records and has released music through Abracadabra, Insomniac Records and Nervous Records. His recordings include No Pare with Natti Natasha and Calussa, while OJOMARINO has provided an outlet for further tracks and edits.
