Marsolo

About

The sound

Marsolo is the house project of Dutch DJ and producer Marijn van Vliet. He began producing by layering drum loops on his computer, developing that early interest before entering the Herman Brood Academy after high school. His music connects a background in electronic production with house records built around samples, rhythm and melody. Vintage, sample-based drums and warm synthesizer parts shape his studio work. His approach places emotional detail alongside the groove, treating a track as a musical story rather than a purely functional rhythm. His releases have appeared through Eastenderz, House of Love and House Puff. His earlier catalogue includes Eye of the Beholder, Synthesis and Step By Step, connecting individual tracks with the broader production work he has developed under the Marsolo name.
