About

The sound

Marten Lou is a Germany-born DJ, producer and songwriter whose music moves through deep and melodic house. Time in Paris helped shape his musical direction, while his own description of his sound emphasises melody, emotion and movement. His recording work brings vocal material together with electronic arrangements and club rhythm. My Love For You (Yebba’s Heartbreak) became an important step in his career. In a 2024 interview, he described sharing the track as the moment when his professional work began to take shape. His catalogue also includes Your Body and his remix of Another Life, with releases appearing through OVO, FFRR, Warner Music and Atlantic Records. His DJ career has included appearances at Coachella and Burning Man. He has cited Keinemusik and WhoMadeWho among the artists that inspire him, reflecting an interest in musical ideas beyond a single house style.
