Martin Garrix is the stage name of Dutch DJ and producer Martijn Gerard Garritsen. A child guitarist who became a teenage producer, he reached a global audience with the 2013 single “Animals,” then built a catalogue spanning progressive house, pop and festival-focused electronic music. Records such as “In the Name of Love,” “Scared to Be Lonely” and “We Are the People” show his collaborative range, while the AREA21 project explores another side of his songwriting. Garrix founded STMPD RCRDS in 2016 to develop artists and releases through his own label. His official channels provide the canonical social destinations, and his Ibiza work sits within a schedule that combines headline shows, studio releases and artist-development projects.
