MARVIN HUMES

About

The sound

Marvin Humes is a South London DJ, producer and broadcaster whose house-music influences include Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Masters at Work. He began developing his DJ experience through early support slots, later combining club performance with radio work for Capital FM. Marvin’s Room began as a livestream from the corner of an East London coffee shop. It grew into a club night and then Marvin’s Room Records, giving Humes a platform for his own productions and music by other artists. His work as a broadcaster has included introducing new dance music and interviewing producers and DJs.
