The sound
Max Styler is a DJ and producer from San Luis Obispo, California. He taught himself to produce and DJ as a teenager and began releasing music at seventeen, with early work appearing on Dim Mak and Monstercat. His debut album Heartache arrived in 2016. He later moved towards house and tech house, releasing through Repopulate Mars, Experts Only and Insomniac Records alongside tracks such as On Repeat and London’s on Fire. In 2025, Styler founded Nu Moda, a label intended as a home for his own music and artists who inspire him. Its releases include You & Me and the I Don’t Think I Can Stop EP, extending his work from production into selecting and presenting other music.
