Meera is a Norwegian electronic artist whose DJ and production work centres on a darker, atmospheric interpretation of Afro house. She began producing as a teenager and developed a wide listening practice that includes world music, indie electronics and emotionally charged club records. Her early VOD releases and collaborations, including the Pete Tong-supported work with Tripolism, established a distinctive balance of warm percussion, hypnotic groove and melodic feeling.
