Melvo Baptiste is a West London DJ, broadcaster, tastemaker and label head whose musical vocabulary reaches from rare groove, soul and funk to disco and classic house. Raised around dancers and record collectors, he developed a radio-led style of selection and became the voice and music director of Defected’s Glitterbox, while also creating The Remedy Project label. His sets and interviews connect generations of Black dance-music history with contemporary club artists and audiences.
