MESTIZA

About

The sound

MËSTIZA is the Spanish DJ and production duo formed in 2021 by Belah and Pitty Bernad. Their shared project combines electronic club production with flamenco, drawing on Spanish rhythms, voices and visual culture. The partnership developed from a longstanding friendship and brought the two artists’ experience as DJs into a common musical direction. Their debut album Quëreles arrived in December 2023 with Spanish and international collaborators. A second album, Spanish Chica, followed in 2026, extending the project’s meeting of flamenco and electronic music. The duo’s release catalogue also includes Me Dices Ven and Baba Calling with Les Castizos. Alongside recordings, Sacro provides a setting for their broader musical and visual concept.
