About

The sound

Mesto is a Dutch electronic DJ and producer whose musical training began with violin before he moved towards drums and computer production. Learning FL Studio gave him a way to combine those interests, and he began developing tracks regularly after sharing early work online. Bouncybob with Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo introduced his production to a wider audience. His catalogue developed through collaborations including Coming Home and Can’t Get Enough with Tiësto, Save Me with Jay Hardway, and Wait Another Day with Mike Williams. He worked with Aloe Blacc on Don’t Worry and Better Days, and with Brooks on Long Time. These records accompanied solo releases such as Leyla and Looking Back. Further collaborations with Martin Garrix included Limitless in 2022 and Breakaway in 2024. That year also brought Mesto’s first EP, Breathe, adding a longer release format to a catalogue built largely through singles and collaborative tracks.
