MIDAS FIELD

About

The sound

Midas Field is a Dutch DJ and producer whose house music combines deep grooves, soulful elements and live musicianship. He studied music production at the Conservatory of Utrecht and spent years producing for other artists before launching the Midas Field project in 2022. His influences include Dam Swindle, Kerri Chandler, Makèz and Ruze, while live piano can accompany his DJ performances. His releases include My Love on Nervous Records, and his own Bandcamp catalogue includes Celebrate The Night and Lost Tapes 01 – Introspection. The project brings his production background and keyboard playing into the same setting, moving between recorded tracks and performance.
