About
The sound
Mikele is a DJ whose career connects Greece’s progressive house scene with radio, record production and independent promotion. He began DJing in 1981 and developed a musical direction that extended from club selections into broadcasting on Life FM and Radio NRG.
In 1994 and 1995, he worked with L-Sega on the Dazzle Parties. His documented Athens club history includes Plus Soda, U-Matic and Alsos. In 1998, he collaborated with FM Records and OZON magazine on the Le Club compilation, bringing his selections into a recorded format.
His production catalogue includes Up & Down, E2b4 and My Feelings on Avatone Recordings, alongside collaborations with Phase Mr and releases credited to S.m.Sound. These projects add studio work and remixes to the DJ and compilation side of his career.
He established Control Co. in 2004 to organise events. His own SoundCloud archive also preserves the deep house mixes Against The Dark and Πrot3cTioN GuidE, giving listeners access to longer selections beyond the individual releases.
