About

The sound

Mochakk is Brazilian DJ and producer Pedro Maia, known for an animated performance style and house productions shaped by a wide record collection. His music moves between funk, percussion and club-focused grooves, with releases across Circoloco Records, Nervous and his MOTRAXX platform. “Jealous,” released on Circoloco Records in 2023, sits alongside “Da Fonk” featuring Joni, the From The Stars EP and remixes of Groove Armada’s “Superstylin’” and Diplo’s “Express Yourself.” His creative interests also include skateboarding, brought together with music through Tricks And Tracks, while the Mochakk Calling project extends his approach to programming and performance. His 2023 Cercle performance at Seville’s Plaza de España brought that performance style to a widely shared filmed set.
