About

The sound

NERVO is the Australian electronic-music duo of twin sisters Miriam and Olivia Nervo, also known as Mim and Liv. Their work brings songwriting, production, vocals and DJ performance together. They first developed as writers for other artists, including Kylie Minogue and Kesha, before building a recording career under their own shared name. In 2009, they co-wrote When Love Takes Over for David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. Their own releases include We’re All No One with Afrojack and Steve Aoki, The Way We See the World with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Reason with Hook N Sling and Like Home with Nicky Romero. Those collaborations connect their writing background with music made for club and festival stages. Their debut album Collateral arrived in 2015. Later recordings include Gotta Be You with Carla Monroe, Flames with Salena Mastroianni and Unbreakable with Nataliya Nikitenko. Remix releases and DJ recordings sit alongside those singles, extending a catalogue developed through the sisters’ own productions and collaborations with other musicians.
