Night Manoeuvres

About

The sound

NIGHT manoeuvres is the shared project of ABSOLUTE. and Dot Major, bringing the London DJ and producer together with the London Grammar multi-instrumentalist. The pair combine UK underground influences with percussive house and techno, analogue bass and ambient textures. Dot Major’s classical training and ABSOLUTE.’s production experience contribute different approaches to the same studio and DJ partnership. Genesis brought the project to fabric, followed by a 2025 run of white labels featuring Genesis and Resurge. Later originals include All For You and Visions featuring Sarah Nimmo, with KiNK supplying contrasting Dark and Bright remixes of Visions. Their own SoundCloud archive separates original productions, DJ mixes and the NM Edit Series. It includes FMB Mixtape 277, a Clash DJ mix and a Rinse FM back-to-back recording with Lu.Re. These recordings document the project’s musical range beyond the singles, while the edit series offers another outlet for its dancefloor work.
