About
The sound
Nora En Pure is a South African-born, Swiss-based DJ and producer whose deep-house recordings often pair piano melodies with organic textures. Her production career began in 2009, with Tokenish appearing on Enormous Tunes, and developed alongside the Helvetic Nerds collective. Come With Me arrived in 2013. Later tracks include Morning Dew, Lake Arrowhead, Tears In Your Eyes, We Found Love and Birthright, developing a recognisable balance of melodic writing and club rhythm. Her remix work includes music by Faithless, Above & Beyond, Eelke Kleijn and SOFI TUKKER. She recorded a BBC Essential Mix in 2016 and developed Purified Radio as another outlet for her selections. Purified Records launched in November 2019, extending that project into a label.
