About

The sound

Obskür is a Dublin house duo formed in 2019 by Lorcan McCarthy and Faustas Astrauskas. Their recordings include Bayside, I’ve Arrived and Seen It All Before, combining a production partnership with shared DJ performances. Their remix catalogue includes The One for Chloé Caillet and a reworking of Barbara Tucker’s Beautiful People. The pair also developed The System as a club concept, with extended performances in which they play both the opening and closing parts of the night. That format gives them room to shape a longer musical progression together. Their later releases include “Serious” in 2025 and “Look Into My Eyes” in 2026, extending a catalogue that also includes “Rebel” featuring SHELLS.
