About

The sound

Paco Osuna is a DJ and producer whose music centres on techno and tech house, with rhythm and a close attention to sound shaping his work in the booth and studio. His releases have appeared on Plus 8, Minus, Mood, Items & Things and Moon Harbour, while remixes for Plastikman, Groove Armada and Basement Jaxx show the range of artists whose material he has reworked. In 2006 he launched Mindshake, creating a platform for electronic releases alongside his own productions. Its catalogue has included music by Cuartero, Carlo Lio, Eats Everything, Nick Curly and Paul Ritch. The label also developed showcases, extending the musical direction of its records into a shared club setting. Osuna’s performance history includes Fabric in London, WOMB in Tokyo and Space Miami, as well as festivals such as Movement Detroit, Awakenings and Sónar. In 2016 he became an ambassador for the PLAYdifferently MODEL 1 mixer, another connection between his DJ practice and the tools used to shape a set.
