About
The sound
Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ, producer and singer whose music connects house and techno with melodic pop songwriting. After studying at the London College of Fashion, she moved to Berlin in 2014 and developed the club work that led to releases including “Art of War,” “Seek for Maktoop” and “Once.” Her records balance rhythm with a recognisable vocal presence. She founded Gudu Records in 2019, releasing “Starry Night” through the label as part of “Moment.” The single “(It Goes Like) Nanana” followed in 2023, ahead of her debut album “I Hear You.” Alongside recording and DJing, Gou has extended her visual interests into Peggy Goods, linking the music to clothing and merchandise.
