The sound
Polygonia is the multidisciplinary music and art project of Munich-based Lindsey Wang. Her production, DJing and live performance draw on acoustic instruments, detailed sound design and an interest in nature, alongside graphic design, illustration and photography.
Her electronic work moves between techno, bass, breakbeat, house, electro and IDM. Releases include Otro Mundo on Bambe in 2023 and Dream Horizons on Dekmantel in 2025. Later collaborative recordings include Cross Passage with Wata Igarashi and MAUVIER with Rødhåd, while her owned hub also documents a partnership with Rrose on Dermatology.
She co-founded the IO collective and label in 2018, launched QEONE in 2022 and formed the electric-jazz trio Lyder in 2021. Work with drummer Simon Popp continues that exchange between instruments and electronics. In 2025, she also co-founded audio software company DSP Dealer. Her DJ archive includes the Early Hours and Beats in Space mixes, alongside live recordings that offer another way into her musical range.
