About
Rafael is an Israeli DJ and producer working in house, tech house and indie dance, also identified as Rafael (IS). His interest in electronic music began around 2010, and he developed the Rafael production project in 2019. His reworking of Jimi Jules' My City's on Fire became an early calling card, with Jamie Jones playing the edit at Cercle. His subsequent catalogue includes recordings through Maccabi House, Realm, Hot Creations and Three Six Zero Recordings. Collaborations with Adam Ten include an official remix of Jamie Jones' La Musa. With Mita Gami he released What Is Luv, while U Make Me marked his fourth release through Maccabi House in June 2025. These studio partnerships sit alongside his work as a club DJ, connecting individual productions with longer selections shaped by his experience behind the decks.
