RETROUVE

About

The sound

Retrouve is the house-music partnership of Barna Frits and Andras Komaromi. Originally from Hungary and based in the Netherlands, the pair developed their music through years of friendship and a shared interest in club records. Their work combines DJ performance with production under one shared artist name. House music from the 2000s provides an important reference point, particularly its soulful grooves and rhythmic energy. Their productions bring those influences together with detailed arrangements and raw textures, while their selections are designed for both smaller clubs and larger festival settings. A performance at Sziget Festival in 2024 formed part of their development as a duo.
