About

The sound

Rhadoo is a Romanian DJ and producer whose career developed through record collecting and the exchange of music with other selectors. He began DJing around 1995, at a time when finding new records involved personal connections and travel. That early emphasis on discovery remained central to his musical approach. Together with Petre Inspirescu and Raresh, he helped develop the community behind a:rpia:r. The label grew from a desire to share ideas and release music by its founders and their friends, linking production with a collaborative approach to DJ culture. His contribution to the fabric mix series, fabric 72, brought that circle into a seventeen-track selection recorded in Bucharest. Much of the material came from friends and was previously unreleased, with his own Circul Globus included alongside recordings by other producers. Rhadoo described the mix as music that could carry the atmosphere of a club into a more relaxed listening setting at home. His production catalogue includes Dor Mit Oru in 2008, the J Strawberry EP in 2024 and Drag-o Mir in 2025.
