About
The sound
Roberto Capuano is an Italian DJ and producer whose techno developed from the Naples underground. Alongside his early club experience, he studied sound engineering and began releasing music through labels including Analytic Trail and Unrilis. The Vertigo EP appeared on Drumcode in 2013, bringing his rhythm-led production to the Swedish label. His music pairs a dark techno atmosphere with an emphasis on groove. At the end of 2014, Capuano and Luigi Madonna established Black Division as a joint project. That collaboration forms part of a career combining his individual recordings with work alongside another producer from the Neapolitan scene.
