About

The sound

Saffron Stone is a London DJ and producer whose work spans recording, promoting and running the 7 Pot Primo project. Her introduction to house music came through her father's record collection and Technics turntables, giving vinyl an early place in her musical life. That interest developed into a career combining DJ sets with production and A&R. Her releases have appeared on Solotoko, Sola, Armada Subjekt, Spinnin' Deep and Lovejuice. The Music marked her debut on Armada Subjekt, while Into the Future became part of her own 7 Pot Primo catalogue. Sorley's remix of that release received support from Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1. Stone has also developed 7 Pot Primo as an event series, with London showcases at E1 and Werkhaus. Her performance history includes Printworks in London and Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, alongside appearances at We Are Festival in Mexico and Higher by Solardo in Croatia.
