About
The sound
Sam Shure is a Berlin-based DJ and producer with Egyptian-German roots. He is the son of the Egyptian jazz musician Basem Darwisch and began playing piano at the age of four, which gave him a classical grounding before he turned to electronic music.
He first appeared with downtempo productions on MUKKE and then moved to Stil vor Talent, where tracks such as Kasra and Nandoo brought him wider attention. Since then he has released on labels including TAU, Magnifik, Cercle Records and Habitat, and in 2026 he made his debut on Rekids with the Belinda EP. His albums include 333, released in 2020.
His tracks have been supported by artists including Dixon, Âme, Adriatique, Mind Against, CamelPhat, Blond:ish, Damian Lazarus and Keinemusik. He has played Burning Man, WooMoon in Ibiza and Tulum, Watergate and Sisyphos, and has collaborated with Deer Jade on String Theory.
In Dubai he played HOUSE RULES at The Penthouse, FIVE Palm Jumeirah, on 31 October 2026.
