Saoirse

About

The sound

Saoirse is an Irish DJ and producer whose career has developed through record collecting, radio, production and community projects. Early exposure to Leftfield, The Prodigy and Orbital fed an interest in electronic music. As a teenager she played on pirate radio and in hard house and trance settings before working at Dublin's Abbey Discs, where her record collection and musical range continued to grow. Her work later expanded into house and techno, alongside the creation of the trUst label and Body Movements festival. On record, releases include The Monogamous EP, Sixty 9 / Triple D and the fabric presents Saoirse mix. Her artist catalogue also includes Body Movement and Boombox. Remix credits connect her with a broad range of electronic artists, including Fever Ray's Looking for a Ghost, Galcher Lustwerk's Shorty Out and Confidence Man and Eliza Rose's I Heart You. Those productions sit alongside DJ recordings and the releases curated through trUst.
