About
The sound
Sasha Carassi is an Italian DJ and producer whose early interest in house music developed into a career in techno. Collecting vinyl from the late 1980s gave him a foundation in records and club music that continued to inform his DJing. A notable point in that career came when Danny Tenaglia invited him to play alongside him in Naples, Carassi's hometown. He founded Phobiq in 2009 and later launched ILINX, developing outlets for his own approach to electronic music. His recordings include “Picture” on Diynamic, “Solastalgia” with Ami-Saint and “Blackness” featuring Eleonora.
