About
The sound
Nicolas Sasson is a Paris DJ and producer whose recordings are released under the name Sasson (FR). His work combines a recorded catalogue with DJ sets and the Bâzâr performance project. Releases include Sun Will Rise and Color Blue, featuring Nathan Nicholson, in 2023, followed by War Cry and Makalu in 2024. Collaborative remix work includes Ray Of Solar with Alex Wann and a version of World Hold On with Soubeiran. The catalogue continued through Sesh and Kalema in 2025, followed by U & Me, Superstar and ALREADY KNOW in 2026. His SoundCloud archive presents a different part of the practice, with longer DJ selections including a Basel recording at Vierteldach and the Quarantine Records series. Together, those mixes and individual productions document both his programming as a DJ and his studio work. Bâzâr by Sasson has its own project account, separate from his personal artist channels.
