About
The sound
Sem Jacobs is a Dutch house DJ and producer whose solo career began in 2022. His music draws on 1990s house alongside disco, funk, salsa and jazz, with releases including “Pass Me the Wine Please,” “Jiggy Jerry” and “Une Nuit À La Cour.” “Blue Berries” followed in 2024, and he collaborated with Esra Nuray on “I Don’t Mind” in 2025. His early club work included an Amsterdam debut for No Art and a Solid Grooves anniversary appearance at Printworks. Recorded sets, including a BBC Radio 1 Peak Time Mix, offer another route into his selections and the house grooves that connect his studio work with DJing.
