About

The sound

Shanti Celeste is a DJ and producer whose music connects a contemporary UK approach with the melodic and emotional range of Detroit techno. Her selections and productions move through house and techno with an emphasis on swing and movement. Peach Discs and her NTS broadcasts have also given her ways to share music by other artists. Her recorded work includes the album Romance, the Bounce EP with Hodge, and “Cutie” and “Shimmer.” Her remix catalogue reaches across artists including The Cure, Orbital and Rochelle Jordan. Together, those records sit alongside the DJ mixes and radio selections that form another part of her work.
