Skream

About

The sound

Skream is the British DJ and producer Oliver Jones, whose early productions helped shape dubstep. He subsequently expanded his DJ sets and recordings into disco, house and techno, drawing on a broad record collection. Rollercoaster, featuring Sam Frank, and remixes for Duke Dumont and Infinity Ink marked that change in direction. His Skreamizm project also became an outlet for selections beyond his early sound. After closing Disfigured Dubz in November 2013, he launched Of Unsound Mind in May 2014. The label supported artists including Motions, Billy Turner and Melody’s Enemy. His later collaborative releases include The Moon/The Boy with Krystal Klear.
