About

The sound

SLVR is the Italian DJ and producer Alessandro Silveri. His work has moved from bass house toward melodic techno, bringing melody together with techno and electro influences. Early resident-DJ sets introduced him to house and minimal sounds, while his 2018 release Old Picta marked an important step in his production career. That development is reflected in a catalogue combining solo tracks and collaborations. His remix of Tiësto’s Lay Low preceded work with Kevin de Vries on Another World, The Techno Code and Life. Gangs pairs him with TH;EN, while TECHNOLOGYK brings him together with RUBACK. On Body EP, released through Massano’s Simulate label, Music 4 Ur Body and Bodyrock develop his melodic direction with techno and electro elements. Alongside the instrumental production, Silveri works with recordings of his own voice, shaping them into part of the tracks’ sound.
