Swedish House Mafia

About

The sound

Swedish House Mafia brings together Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. Formed in 2008, the trio developed a shared recording and performance identity alongside the members’ individual careers. After the farewell period of One Last Tour, they returned together at Ultra Music Festival in 2018 and followed that reunion with the Save the World tour in 2019. Their 2022 album Paradise Again broadened the project’s collaborative catalogue through It Gets Better, Lifetime with Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake, and Moth to a Flame with The Weeknd. The record also brought Sting into Redlight and A$AP Rocky into Frankenstein. Across those songs, the trio connected large-scale electronic production with vocalists from pop, rap and soul.
