Switch Disco

About

The sound

Switch Disco is the DJ and production duo of Dan Creasy and Nikos Kalogerias. Their partnership began in 2012, bringing together experience on the UK and Greek club circuits. Mashups became a central part of their approach, and during lockdown they began filming performances from a kitchen in Basingstoke, translating the combinations they used in clubs into short online videos. Their own recordings include React with Ella Henderson, which builds on the melody of Robert Miles’s Children. The duo’s music catalogue also includes Breathe with NEVE and Empty Skies with Korolova. These collaborations sit alongside their mashups and recorded DJ sets, connecting vocal dance tracks with the mixing approach that first brought them together.
