About

The sound

Talantösis is the techno DJ and producer Ioannis Kougianos, from Ancient Olympia in Greece. His career includes a London chapter with Minimal Force Records and a residency at Werkhaus, alongside work connected to Modular Expansion. His studio catalogue includes Amorphia for Modular Expansion, Isoropia for Diffuse Reality Records, Trismegistos EP for Death Bell Records and Figalia for U.F.O. Recordings.

Amorphia brings together the title track and Evmorphia, adding specific recordings to a practice that also includes international DJ performance. His artist biography records appearances at venues such as GoldenGate in Berlin, Baalsaal in Hamburg, M7 in Barcelona and six d.o.g.s in Athens. It also documents shared lineups with Terry Francis, Saytek, Robert S and Keith Carnal. Production and DJing therefore form two connected strands of his work, developed through the Greek scene, London and subsequent performances abroad.
