About
The sound
Temudo is a Lisbon-based techno DJ, producer and live performer. His work spans original recordings, improvisation and mastering, alongside his role in Hayes Collective. Detailed sound construction and an interest in contrasting moods connect these different parts of his practice.
His catalogue includes Klockworks 31 and Klockworks 37, the Hayes album Shapeless, 5 Assets for Sublunar and Meteora for Fuse Imprint. Further releases include Moraliste for Blueprint and And the Pattern Repeats for Primal Instinct. He also runs Tema Mastering.
Live performance became another strand of his work in 2023, using Ableton for spontaneous decisions rather than a fixed sequence. Extract 01 preserves a five-minute passage from his Jardim Sonoro performance that year, released as a ten-inch record. Improvised MIDI sequencing is central to the process behind that recording.
His DJ archive includes mixes for KHIDI, Clergy and Reclaim Your City, as well as a Stone Techno Festival recording. A live set at Fold for a Hayes Collective showcase provides a further view of the performance practice alongside his studio catalogue.
