About
The sound
The Brothers Macklovitch brings together siblings A-Trak and Dave 1 of Chromeo. The project draws on records they grew up with in Montreal, combining Dave’s singing with A-Trak’s production and turntable work. Their first releases included Give Love to Get Some with Leven Kali and I Can Call You, a new version of Portrait’s 1995 song. Their shared catalogue extends into house music through Bump with Tony Romera and Mike Dunn, followed by Lots of Love with DRAMA and co-production from MPH. Released through Fool’s Gold in 2026, Lots of Love pairs Via Rosa’s vocal with the brothers’ club-focused production. Alongside these records, their joint DJ work includes a Beats in Space mix, giving another view of the musical relationship behind the project.
