About
The sound
The Dreamer is the music and design identity of Sotiris Trechas, an Athens DJ and promoter. He founded and is a resident of Purple Night, an Athens queer party collective, and also organises Love Issues. His music ranges across house, techno and more atmospheric listening.
His recordings include Space Horse, To The Moon and Gentle Love, alongside the Vogue Edit of Ladies with an Attitude Doing Poppers at the Rave. His mix archive includes Summer Rave, Acid In The Summer House Mix and performances for Kiosk Radio. Sunset Mix 2026 takes an ambient direction, with selections by artists including Vangelis, Rival Consoles, Nabihah Iqbal and Tycho.
This music practice sits alongside his work as publisher of Fluffer Everyday magazine and creative director of The Dreamer design label. Party organisation and resident DJing give him an ongoing role in shaping the spaces where he performs, while the recordings provide a separate outlet for his own music and selections.
