The Martinez Brothers are Christian and Steve Martinez, the Bronx-raised DJ and production duo behind Cuttin’ Headz. Their musical upbringing brought together their father’s salsa, Latin jazz and disco records with the instruments they played in church. Those influences feed into a house and tech-house sound connected to New York’s club culture. Their studio work has brought them together with Louie Vega, Nile Rodgers, Tokischa, Rauw Alejandro and Fuego. Alongside running Cuttin’ Headz, the brothers have built a catalogue that includes ‘Take You Home’, ‘Impressions’, ‘Rizzla’ and ‘Kilo’, carrying their rhythmic approach from extended DJ sets into singles and collaborations.
