About

The sound

Toman is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer whose music moves through house, minimal and tech house. He began playing drums in his early teens and cites Underworld, Minilogue and Terry Lee Brown Jr among his influences. His first solo EP appeared on Cyclic in 2017, followed by the Broodrooster EP on We_r House. Other releases have appeared through No Art, PIV, META and Inermu. His current catalogue includes De La Buena, Seguimos, Backstage Beauties and Emotion on High Ceilings, alongside Verano En NY and Booty Smoothie on Solid Grooves. His own Bandcamp releases include From Miami, In-N-Out, Buenos Aires and 223B1. Recorded DJ performances offer another route into his selections, including Awakenings Festival 2026, HÖR Berlin, Thuishaven and an All Night Long livestream. The combination of percussion-led production, independent releases and extended sets gives his profile a concrete record of both studio work and DJ practice.
