About

The sound

Tony Guerra is a Venezuelan DJ and producer whose house music connects Latin rhythms with bass-driven club arrangements. His musical background ranges from salsa and vallenato to disco, pop and classical music, and he developed an interest in turntables at the age of twelve. He founded Overtones as a wider platform for electronic music, encompassing a record label, events and education. The community began in 2016 and issued its first record in 2019. He has tested new artists’ tracks in his DJ sets before deciding which music to sign. His catalogue includes ‘Arrebatao’ with Jonathan Jaramillo, released through Overtones in 2024. The label also lists ‘Look Out’ with Bruno Bona and the ‘Mi Tiene Loca’ EP with KYZN and RENZO., alongside Guerra’s remixes of ‘City Queen’ and ‘Aztec’.
