Trikk

About

The sound

Trikk is a Portuguese DJ and producer from Porto whose career developed through electronic releases and a move to Berlin. His work with Innervisions combines rhythm-led house production with close attention to melody, timing and the space between sounds. Releases beginning in 2011 laid the foundation for that steadily developed catalogue. Florista introduced his music to Innervisions with rhythmic experiments and hypnotic synth lines. The double EP Mundo Ritual followed in 2017, bringing African-rooted percussion together with more forceful electronic sounds. Vilara, released in 2018, shifted the focus towards rising synthesizer melodies and carefully shaped moments of tension. His later catalogue includes the 2023 album Fauna & Flora. Behind the decks, he favours patient progression, harmonic mixing and considered selection, allowing the direction of a set to develop through its individual records. Those skills run alongside his studio practice as a DJ and producer.
