The sound

Vintage Culture is the Brazilian DJ and producer Lukas Ruiz, whose music works across melodic house and club-focused electronic production. His debut album Promised Land arrived in 2024 with sixteen tracks. A subsequent remix collection expanded the album through contributions including Solomun and CamelPhat. In the same period, Ruiz presented a BBC Radio 1 residency, sharing his selections alongside his own studio work. His projects also include the Só Track Boa label and festival, and Vintage Is A Festival, launched in Brazil in 2023 with local visual artists. In 2025, he introduced the Affairs party.
