About
The sound
Whiplash is a Greek DJ born and raised in Germany. Her selections draw on early EBM and acid house, connecting industrial textures with Detroit-influenced techno, trip-hop, dark wave and punk. Changes in rhythm and atmosphere are central to her approach.
Her recorded work includes S3KMIX056 for Society 3000 and Public Sex Regime 002, subtitled Agiu Pnevmatos Mix. These programmes provide extended examples of her selections beyond a single genre or track, complementing her own description of DJing as a form of storytelling.
Her archive also includes Current Moon Phase 023 with ΔreamCcore on Fade Radio, dated October 2023, and ΔΙΑΔΙΚΤΥΑΚΗ ΑΠΑΤΗ 028 with Romphea from February 2025. These are radio and podcast recordings; they are distinct from original production releases or a personal label catalogue.
