About
YEMANJO is the artist project of California-born producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harris. The project's official biography describes music shaped by Harris's international travels and by traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, joined to downtempo, organic-house and global-bass production. His 2024 album La Misma Fuente documents that approach through electronic rhythm, synthesis, vocals and acoustic instrumentation, with Harris credited for sound design, arrangement, singing, charango, trumpet and digital percussion. In performance, YEMANJO combines original productions with live vocals in several languages, trumpet, percussion and other instruments, moving between an electro-acoustic live set and a hybrid DJ format. Those artist-controlled sources support DJ, musician, producer, vocalist, instrumentalist and live-performer roles under one YEMANJO profile, with Ben Harris retained as the verified person leading the project. Irene Rosalia remains a separate featured vocalist identity and is not merged into this account. The same-day Scorpios billing is retained outside the date-only projection rather than being mislabeled as historical or exposed as a future event.
